Training Disciples

Firelands School of Ministry is a one-year discipleship experience for believers who want to move beyond inspiration into lasting formation.

This year’s theme, Tactical Theology: Truth for Everyday Life, reflects our conviction that theology was never meant to remain theoretical. It is meant to shape the way we think, transform the way we live, and prepare us to faithfully represent Christ in every sphere of life.

Meeting weekly on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., Firelands School of Ministry is designed to increase biblical literacy, establish believers in sound doctrine, and cultivate a lifestyle that reflects the Kingdom of God. Through rich biblical teaching, Spirit-led ministry, and authentic covenant community, students are equipped not simply to know Scripture, but to think biblically, discern wisely, and live faithfully.

Together, we’ll journey through the grand narrative of Scripture—from creation to new creation—while discovering how the foundational doctrines of the Christian faith shape every area of life. Topics include the nature and character of God, identity and the image of God, spiritual warfare, Israel, the covenants, salvation, the Holy Spirit, healing, worship, prayer and intercession, the return of Jesus Christ, and more. Every topic is taught with one goal in mind: that truth would move beyond information to become transformation.
